This photo was taken during my time with the Water Protectors in Minnesota where we built tipis on the capital grounds in protest against line 3. I took this photograph of the tipi I was honored to run rope on. The background image is also from this time with a tipi that states “HONOR THE TREATIES” something that the divided states of america have never done for our People.
